The main purpose of having a local HR system in Poland is the laws are constantly changing. As our customer already has a global SAP HR platform it was an obvious choice to implement SAP with HR modules customized to Polish law requirements.
The HR system is crucial in the company system architecture as it is responsible for wage calculation of more than one thousand employees. Local law requirements enforce constant changes to customizing – as well new packages are released by SAP every three months. This makes the system difficult to maintain and keep high SLA.
BPX was able to deliver faster reaction times and better scalability of engaged resources than customer global teams. The local system is currently supported by BPX for more than 15 years. During this time the BPX team made several architecture upgrades like Unicode conversion or operating system migration.
